Calvert County Board of Education Appoints Supervisor of Equity

The Board of Education of Calvert County Public Schools (CCPS) appointed Ms. Margo Gross to serve as the Supervisor of Equity at the October 28, 2023, Board of Education meeting.

“I am excited about the opportunity to continue the work of creating equitable and inclusive environments for our students,” said Ms. Gross. “I look forward to collaborating with CCPS staff to ensure our students thrive as students and post-graduation.”

Ms. Gross has been an employee of Calvert County Public Schools Since 2004 and has served in as classroom educator, dean of students, assistant principal, and supervisor of special education. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 1998, her Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Trinity College in 2003, and her Administration Certification in Educational Leadership from McDaniel College in 2014. In 2007 she was the Calvert County Teacher of the Year. She has completed all but the dissertation for her Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership K-12 through Walden University.
